According to the IMD, heavy rain is expected in all the states of the Northeast. A heavy rain warning has been issued in Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, and Nagaland. Apart from these, a heavy rain alert has been issued in Mizoram, Sikkim, Tripura and Puducherry.
A heavy rain warning has also been issued in Assam. An appeal has been made to exercise caution due to the danger of landslides in Manipur, Sikkim, and Mizoram. Anyway, heavy rain late at night in the Northeast has led to flood conditions, making the situation terrible.
Monsoon will pick up speed again.
The monsoon has completely slowed down. The movement in the Bay of Bengal has started increasing again, which may lead to an increase in the monsoon’s speed. Now, its effect is expected to reach the state of Bihar. People in states such as Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi-NCR, and Haryana are expected to face severe heat.
