Along with this, the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, affiliated to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, has refused to participate in the general strike, calling it politically motivated.

New recruitments should be organised to reduce unemployment.
Along with the youth getting jobs, the re-recruitment of retired people should be banned.
Wages and the number of days of MNREGA should be increased.
A scheme like MNREGA should also be implemented for the urban unemployed.
Privatisation, contract-based jobs and outsourcing should be banned.
The four labour codes that take away the rights of employees should be abolished.
Expenditure on basic needs like education, health and ration should be increased.
The government has not organised an annual labour conference for 10 years.
