What is PM Kisan Yojana?

What conditions need to be fulfilled?
1. e-KYC is mandatory: To avail the benefits of the scheme, it is necessary to get electronic KYC (e-KYC) done through PM Kisan Portal or nearest Common Service Center (CSC). OTP based e-KYC is available on the website, while for biometric e-KYC go to CSC.
2. Link Aadhaar to bank account: Your Aadhaar number should be linked to your active bank account. If it is not linked, the money will not be transferred.
3. Check bank account details: Double check details like bank account number and IFSC code. Wrong information may cause the transaction to fail.
4. Solve problems related to land records: If there is any error in your land records or documents are incomplete, then immediately contact the local authorities and get it corrected, otherwise the eligibility may be cancelled.
5. Check beneficiary status: By visiting www.pmkisan.gov.in you can check your eligibility status, information about previous installments and application status.
6. Update mobile number: If your mobile number is old, then you will not get OTP and other alerts. So keep your mobile number updated.
How to update mobile number?
Go to PM Kisan website https://pmkisan.gov.in.
Go to ‘Farmer Corner’.
Click on ‘Update Mobile Number’.
Enter registration number or Aadhaar number.
Fill the captcha and click on ‘Submit’.
Update mobile number as per the instructions on the screen.
If you complete all these necessary steps, then you will get the payment of the 20th installment on time. Otherwise the payment may get stuck or even cancelled.
When will the 20th installment of PM Kisan come?
According to media reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi may visit Motihari in Bihar on July 18. It is likely that he will release the 20th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi on the same day. However, the government has not yet officially confirmed this program.
