Online method
- This is the easiest and fastest method.
- First of all go to the official website of your LPG provider (like Indane, HP Gas or Bharat Gas).
- There click on the option like Join DBTL or Link Aadhaar.
- Now fill in your LPG consumer number, mobile number and Aadhaar number.
- After clicking on Submit, an OTP will come on your mobile number or email.
- After entering the OTP, your details will be verified and the linking will be confirmed.
With this process, you can easily do Aadhaar linking from home and avail the subsidy.
Offline method
- If you do not want to do the online process, then adopt this method.
- First of all download Form 2 from your LPG provider’s website and take a printout.
- Fill all the information asked in this form correctly.
- Attach a photocopy of Aadhaar card with it.
- Submit the form at your nearest LPG distributor’s office.
- After verification, your LPG connection will be linked to Aadhaar.
This method may take some time, but is easy for people in rural areas or with less internet facility.
Call center method
- This method is also very convenient.
- Call the toll-free number 1800-2333-555 from your registered mobile number.
- Follow the guidelines of the IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system.
- Choose the option to link Aadhaar.
- Now enter your LPG ID and Aadhaar number.
After the verification is complete, Aadhaar will be linked to your gas connection.
