Indian citizens can travel visa-free or visa-on-arrival to 57 countries, including Thailand, Indonesia, Bhutan, and Mauritius. According to the latest Henley Passport Index data, China has performed well in the index. Over the past decade, it has risen from 94th in 2015 to 64th in 2025.
The Strength of the US Passport Has Decreased
The US passport has now fallen from 10th to 12th place. This is due to several changes. In April, Brazil discontinued visa-free travel for US citizens. China also removed the US passport from its visa-free list. Somalia recently implemented e-visas, and Vietnam removed the US from its new visa-free list. Because of all these changes, the US passport is no longer in the top 10 for the first time.
