If e-KYC is not done, the instalment amount will be delayed. There’s no need to worry about getting e-KYC done. You can easily get it done from home. The process is also online, so if you miss the opportunity, you’ll miss it.
How to get e-KYC done
Farmers must first visit the scheme’s official website.
After this, in the ‘Farmers Corner’ section on the homepage, click on the ‘e-KYC’ option.
After this, enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number and press the ‘Search’ or ‘Find’ button.
Then enter the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar card.
After this, click on ‘Get OTP’.
After this, you will receive an OTP on your mobile number.
Enter that OTP in the space provided on the website.
Then, click ‘Submit’ to complete the e-KYC process.
A confirmation message will appear on the screen if successful.
For your information, the government launched the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in 2019. Since then, instalments of ₹2,000 have been transferred every four months. The government annually transfers ₹6,000 in three instalments of ₹2,000 each.
