Bharat Taxi app is a new cab aggregator platform that is taking on private companies like Ola and Uber directly. It has been launched to empower drivers.
Bharat Taxi App Service: Earlier this month, the central government’s cooperative service, “Bharat Taxi App,” launched. The most significant feature is that while Rapido, Ola, and Uber have reduced drivers’ earnings by charging 20 to 30 percent commission, new platforms like Bharat Taxi operate on a zero-commission or low-fee model. With the launch of Bharat Taxi, the service is now returning approximately 80 to 100 percent of drivers’ earnings.
This means that the launch of Bharat App has directly benefited drivers in two ways. First, drivers are now receiving more benefits, while the app is also reducing their dependence on companies.
Benefits of the Bharat Taxi App
The revenue model of Ola, Uber, and RadioPo is that they take a commission of 20 to 30 percent from the driver’s fare. This reduces drivers’ earnings. Furthermore, dynamic pricing increases fares as demand increases. While this proves costly for customers, it is beneficial for drivers, but it does create instability.
On the other hand, the introduction of the Bharat Taxi app increases drivers’ profits and dividends. It operates without surge pricing. This ensures transparent and stable fares, while also providing relief to passengers from fare increases.
Cut down on driver arbitrariness
The Bharat Taxi app is a new cab aggregator platform that directly competes with private companies like Ola and Uber. It was launched to empower drivers. The service has launched in Delhi and will be rolled out in a phased manner across the rest of the country. Bharat Taxi, a cooperative model, allows drivers to pay lower commissions and generate higher revenues, while also offering affordable, surge-free pricing and transparency for passengers. Drivers also receive higher earnings and a stake in the company, freeing them from the high commissions of private apps.
