Monsoon Update – The final phase of winter is now underway in most parts of India. It’s believed that winter will soon depart. In places like Western Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Delhi NCR, people have stopped wearing warm clothing during the day. The chill is confined to the mornings and evenings.
Temperatures are indeed fluctuating in various parts of Delhi. However, the next few hours are not going to be easy, as rain and storm warnings have been issued in five states. The IMD has predicted winds of 40 to 45 kilometres per hour in several states.

This is expected to cause a drop in temperatures by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius. Snowfall is still occurring in the mountainous regions, where the severe cold continues due to falling temperatures. You can find out more about the weather in these areas below.
The possibility of rain in these areas
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, clouds have become active from Uttarakhand to the Andaman. The International Monetary Fund (IMD) has issued a warning for light rain in Himachal Pradesh and snowfall in higher reaches. Tamil Nadu and Kerala may also experience scattered rain.

Strong winds and lightning are expected in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea. According to the IMD, minimum temperatures in northwest India may drop over the next 48 hours. No major changes are expected for the next five days.
What will the weather be like in Delhi-NCR?
The weather in Delhi-NCR is expected to change on February 19th. Partly cloudy skies are expected throughout the day. Drizzle or light rain is possible in many areas. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 26 degrees Celsius, and the minimum around 13 degrees Celsius.
A mild chill is expected in the morning,g and a mild heat wave is expected in the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to rise by 2 to 3 degrees from February 20th.
Weather in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to change in the western districts of Uttar Pradesh. The IMD has issued a light rain alert for Meerut, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Hapur, Baghpat, and Muzaffarnagar. Cloudy skies are expected in these areas.
In the capital, Lucknow, a maximum temperature of 28 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 15 degrees Celsius have been predicted. Meanwhile, clear weather is expected in Bihar. A mild chill may be felt in the morning and evening.
