Australia Visa Fees: Australia is one of the best countries in the world for higher education, where a large number of Indians are studying. The cost of studying here is very high, which has increased further after the increase in visa fees.
Australia Visa Fees Hike: The government here has given a big blow to Indian students studying in Australia. Now it is going to be even more expensive for them to study in Australia. Australia has significantly increased the visa fees for foreign students and those applying to work after studies. This will have a direct impact on those Indian students who are studying here or coming to pursue degrees from Australian universities.
The universities and education related institutions here have expressed strong protest against the decision of the Australian government. He says that this step will reduce the importance of Australia as a place for education and it will be left behind in the competition with other countries. The new fees, announced by the Department of Home Affairs, came into effect from July 1, 2026, without any prior consultation with the international education sector.
