Heavy rains in most parts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh led to a drop in the temperature level. The sky is also cloudy in the surrounding areas, including the capital, Delhi. The good news is that the wait for the monsoon for the people of Delhi, Haryana, and Punjab is also about to end.
Trouble is raining from the sky in most parts of South India. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms in several states across the country.
When will the monsoon reach Delhi?
According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon is expected to arrive in the national capital, Delhi, soon. The IMD has issued a warning of monsoon rains in the next two days, which will give great relief to the people from the heat. Usually, the monsoon reaches Delhi on June 29, but this time it will arrive. The monsoon will soon enter Punjab and Haryana, after which people will experience relief from the scorching heat.
Heavy rain warning in these states
According to the Meteorological Department, the southwest monsoon has become active in most states of the country. The monsoon is expected to spread soon to Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi. The IMD has issued a warning of heavy rain in Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, and Mizoram until June 26.
Apart from this, a warning of heavy rain has also been issued in Nagaland, Tripura and Uttar Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for here. Heavy rain is also expected in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.
A heavy rain warning has also been issued in many places in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Goa. There is a possibility of heavy rainfall in many parts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand.
