Till now BSNL used to provide free BiTV service to its mobile users but even bigger benefits have been included in the new premium pack. In this, users are getting free subscription of 450+ live TV channels and 25 popular OTT apps.
Benefits of BSNL BiTV Premium Plan
The company shared the information about this plan on its X (earlier Twitter) handle. The new BiTV premium pack is available for just Rs 151 per month (ie about Rs 5 per day). It includes more than 450 live TV channels, access to 25 premium OTT platforms. These include big names like SonyLIV, Zee5, ShemarooMe, SunNXT, Fancode and ETV Win. BSNL has called it an all-in-one entertainment pack.

Cheaper packs also launched
Along with the premium pack, BSNL has also introduced two affordable packs:
30-day pack of Rs 28: It offers 7 OTT apps and 9 complimentary OTT apps.
Rs 29 pack: It also has almost the same benefits but the list of OTT apps is slightly different. These packs are specially made for users who like regional content.
Why is this plan special?
This new move of BSNL directly challenges the DTH market. While in DTH connection, different channel packs have to be chosen, in this plan users are getting the pleasure of both TV and OTT in a single subscription. In this way, this premium plan of BSNL can become a cheap and all-in-one solution for internet TV and OTT viewers.
Jio’s Rs 299 plan
Jio’s Rs 299 plan can be considered the most value-for-money in this comparison. It offers 1.5GB True 5G data daily for 28 days, unlimited calling, 100 SMS/day. It also includes three months of JioCinema Mobile subscription, which costs Rs 149 alone.
In this plan, you also get free access to JioTV and Jio AICloud (50GB storage). After the data is exhausted, the speed becomes 64kbps. However, it is important to note that to retain OTT access, one needs to recharge within 48 hours of the plan expiry.
