Northwest India

The pre-monsoon season has gained momentum in northwest India. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert that heavy rainfall will occur in many areas of Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh on March 22, 23, 24, and 25. During this period, there is also an alert for light rain in many places, along with strong winds with speeds of 40-70 kilometers per hour, lightning, and hailstorms in some areas.

Western India

The pre-monsoon season has also picked up pace in western India. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert warning that heavy rain will occur in Central Maharashtra and Marathwada on March 22, 23, 24, and 25. Thunderstorms and strong winds are also likely during this period.

Eastern and Central India

The pre-monsoon has also gained momentum in eastern and central India. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert that on March 22, 23, 24, and 25, there will be heavy rains in Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, and Vidarbha, with light rain in some areas. During this period, there is also an alert for strong winds of 50-80 kilometers per hour, dust storms, lightning, and hailstorms in some districts.

Northeast India

The pre-monsoon has also gained momentum in northeastern India. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rains in Assam, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Tripura, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, and Nagaland on March 22, 23, 24, and 25. There is also an alert for strong winds of 30-50 kilometers per hour and thunderstorms during this period.

South India

The pre-monsoon season has also picked up pace in South India. The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rainfall alert for Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Mahe, Puducherry, Yanam, and Karaikal on March 22, 23, 24, and 25. Strong winds with speeds of up to 30-50 kilometers per hour are also expected in many areas during this period.
