Bharat Gas users should complete these important tasks before June 30, otherwise they will not get gas cylinder and subsidy.

Bharat Gas customers are required to complete eKYC. Failure to complete eKYC before June 30, 2026, could result in problems with LPG subsidies and gas service. Learn how to do this from home.

Bharat Gas Users Alert

If you use a Bharat Gas LPG connection, this news is very useful. Bharat Petroleum has advised customers to complete their eKYC (e-KYC) so that their gas connections and LPG subsidies can continue uninterrupted. The company has clearly stated that customers should complete their e-KYC process before June 30, 2026.

This is why eKYC is essential.

These days, the government and oil companies are focusing more on digital verification. This is why biometric authentication-based eKYC is being made mandatory for LPG customers. This will help prevent fraudulent connections and ensure subsidies reach the right people.

An easy way to complete eKYC from home

The best part is that customers no longer need to visit the gas agency. Bharat Gas users can complete their eKYC from home in a few simple steps using the HelloBPCL App. Failure to complete this process on time could result in problems receiving gas subsidy.

The complete process for completing eKYC using the HelloBPCL App

Step 1: If you’re a Bharat Gas customer, you can easily complete your eKYC from home using your mobile phone. All you need is the HelloBPCL App and your Aadhaar-linked mobile number. First, open the Google Play Store or Apple App Store on your phone. Search for HelloBPCL there, download, and install the app.

Step 2: Login with your mobile number

Open the app and enter your registered mobile number. You will receive an OTP. Enter it to login. Remember to use the same number associated with your Bharat Gas connection. After logging in, the LPG Services or Bharat Gas section will appear on the app’s homepage. Click on it.

Step 3: Select the eKYC option.

You will now see the option for eKYC or Biometric Authentication. Tap on it. Enter your Aadhaar number. An OTP may then be sent to the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar. Enter the OTP and complete the verification. In some cases, fingerprint or face authentication may be required. You may need to visit your nearest gas agency or authorized center for this.

Step 4: Check Confirmation

After entering all the correct information, press the Submit button. Your eKYC process will be completed. Once the eKYC is successful, you will receive confirmation via SMS or app notification. After this, your Bharat Gas connection and LPG subsidy will continue uninterrupted.
