The Central Government has issued a major update regarding this on the social media platform ‘X’. On the other hand, while media reports are making claims about the matter, no official statement has yet been issued on the exact date the 23rd instalment of ₹2,000 will be disbursed.
Government Issues Major Update
The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme holds immense significance. The Central Government has released a major update concerning this initiative. Through a post on its official ‘X’ handle, the government stated that under the PM Kisan scheme, financial assistance exceeding ₹4.28 lakh crore has been provided directly into farmers’ bank accounts across 22 instalments released so far.
The benefits of this scheme have also reached over 2.17 crore female beneficiaries. To date, a sum exceeding ₹1.10 lakh crore has been transferred directly into the accounts of female beneficiaries alone.

Before releasing an instalment under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, the government officially announces the number of beneficiary farmers and the scheduled date of disbursement. This information is disseminated through the scheme’s official website and social media handles.
The 22nd instalment of the scheme was transferred on March 13th. Funds under the scheme are disbursed at intervals of four months. Consequently, it is anticipated that the 23rd instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme is expected to be credited to farmers’ bank accounts in July.
Which Farmers Will Receive the Benefits?
To avail the benefits of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, farmers must fulfil the essential requirements. Foremost among these is the mandatory linking of the farmer’s Aadhaar card. Furthermore, the bank account details must be accurate and valid. In addition to these prerequisites, the completion of e-KYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) is also mandatory.
