Most major states will see banks closed on Friday, June 26. The states where banks will be closed include:

 

Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar

Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh

West Bengal, Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir

Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Tripura

Conversely, banks will remain open in:

Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh

In states where the Muharram holiday applies on June 26, bank employees and customers will enjoy a long weekend of three consecutive days.

Even though bank branches will remain closed in the last week of June, you won’t face any trouble with money transactions. Online and digital banking services will be available 24/7 for customers. UPI will be fully functional. Cash can be withdrawn from ATMs. Funds can be transferred normally through net banking and mobile banking.
