LPG Price Cut: Cylinder price reduced by Rs 192, latest rates from Delhi to Patna

LPG Price Cut: The new rates of LPG cylinders have been released today on 1st August. There has been relief rain from Delhi to Patna. The price of commercial LPG cylinder has decreased by Rs 192 today. However, there is no relief for domestic consumers. There is no change in the price of 14.2 kg cylinder. However, for some beneficiaries of Ujjwala, LPG will become costlier by Rs 300 per cylinder from today.

New Commercial Cylinder Rates

According to the latest rates posted on the Indian Oil website, the price of a 19-kg commercial cylinder in Delhi has dropped by ₹192 to ₹2,738. Previously, it was ₹2,930. Meanwhile, the price of a commercial cylinder in Patna has dropped from ₹3,227 to ₹3,018. In Lucknow, the price of a commercial LPG cylinder has dropped from ₹3,052.5 to ₹2,860.5.

It’s worth noting that earlier, on July 1st, the price of a 19-kg commercial cylinder was also significantly reduced. This is the second consecutive month of price reductions. In Delhi, the price of a commercial cylinder has now become cheaper by ₹375.50 in two months. After a price increase of ₹1580.50 this year, the price decreased by ₹183.50 in July. Subsequently, on August 1st, the price of a commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi once again decreased by ₹192.

Cylinders are ₹300 more expensive for these people

If you are an Ujjwala scheme beneficiary and have refilled four cylinders between April 1st and July 31st, you will not receive a subsidy this August. This means the cylinder will be available at the same price as the general consumer. It’s worth noting that the government is providing a subsidy of ₹300 each on only four cylinders to Ujjwala scheme beneficiaries starting this financial year. Previously, the subsidy was available on nine cylinders, and later, it was reduced to six.

Check domestic cylinder rates

The most expensive domestic cylinder is being sold in Leh for Rs 1196.5. At the same time, a cylinder is available for Rs 1,119.50 in North Tripura, Rs 1,094.50 in Gangtok, Rs 1,094 in Aizawl and Rs 1,093.50 in West Imphal. Domestic LPG price in Srinagar is Rs 1,058. In Mumbai, a 14.2 kg domestic cylinder costs Rs 941.50. Its price in Bengaluru is Rs 944.50, in Ahmedabad and Gurugram it is Rs 949, in Jaipur it is Rs 952.50 and in Goa it is Rs 956. Domestic cylinder is available at Rs 957.50 in Chennai, Rs 968 in Kolkata and Rs 976.50 in Lucknow. Whereas in Hyderabad, domestic gas cylinder has reached Rs 994.
