Monsoon Update: Due to the monsoon clouds being active across the country, it is raining at many places. The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain with thunder in many states of the country.

Rain alert here in Bihar and Rajasthan
The Meteorological Department has issued a rain warning in many areas of Bihar and Rajasthan. IMD has predicted heavy rain with thunder in Banka, Bodh Gaya, Buxar and Gaya. Apart from these, an alert has been issued for torrential rain with thunderstorms in many districts, including Hajipur, Motihari, Nalanda, Purnia and Sasaram.
Along with this, an alert for heavy rain has been issued in Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. Rain is expected in many areas, including Jaisalmer, Jaipur, Alwar and Ajmer of Rajasthan. According to the report of the Meteorological Department, light rain is expected at many places in northern and south-eastern Rajasthan between 21 and 22 July.
Rain alert in these states
According to the IMD, there is a possibility of rain in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. Apart from these, there is a possibility of rain in Telangana, Karnataka and Maharashtra. There is a possibility of rain in Manipur, Sikkim and Tripura in the Northeast. A rain warning has been issued in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Puducherry and Tripura.
