On Thursday, in the campaign to make Delhi Road jam-free, the traffic police and the corporation carried out a campaign to remove encroachment from Ghantaghar to Bachha Park on the fifth day. During this, the traffic police strongly reprimanded those who had decorated their shops by putting slabs on the drains.
Ordered to remove the shops immediately. During this, the traffic police warned the shopkeepers that if any vehicle other than a customer is found parked outside the shop, a challan will be issued. They warned the shopkeepers that the vehicles should be parked only inside the white strip made on the road.
The traffic police is running a campaign to complete the journey from Partapur Interchange to Begumpul in 15 minutes. Efforts are being made to improve traffic on the roads connected to it to reduce the pressure of vehicles on Delhi Road.

The constructions made on the drains were demolished with a bulldozer. The platforms and tin sheds built in front of the shops were also removed. The traders also protested against this but none of them worked in front of the strictness of the police.
On Thursday again the traffic police and corporation team jointly removed encroachment from Ghantaghar to Chhatri Wale Peer, Ahmednagar, Jali Kothi, Khairnagar Chauraha and Bachcha Park. Shops were set up in front of many shops by putting slabs and iron mesh on the drains.
The traffic police got them removed. They were warned that if the shop is set up again, the goods will be confiscated. All shopkeepers were told that only the vehicles of customers should be parked in front of the shops. The rest of the vehicles will be parked at Ghantaghar parking.
