In addition, a light fare option has been introduced for passengers traveling with light luggage, which will not include check-in baggage. Tickets at these special fares can be booked through the airline’s official website, www.airindiaexpress.com, mobile app, and all major booking platforms until January 1, 2026. These discounted fares will be valid for domestic travel from January 12 to October 10, 2026, and for international travel from January 12 to October 31, 2026.
A plethora of offers for passengers
Air India Express has added several additional benefits to further attract customers. Air India Express is offering zero convenience fees on all bookings made through the mobile app. There will also be no additional charges for payments made through net banking on the website. Passengers choosing the Lite Fare will also receive discounted check-in baggage.
The fee is set at ₹1,500 for 15 kg of baggage on domestic flights and ₹2,500 for 20 kg of baggage on international flights. Air India Express operates more than five flights daily and has a fleet of over 100 A320 aircraft and Boeing 737s.
