According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Delhi-NCR is expected to undergo a complete shift. Skies are expected to remain overcast right from the morning. Conditions involving strong winds may persist here until the afternoon or evening. Furthermore, wind speeds are expected to reach between 40 and 50 kilometres per hour. There is also a possibility of dust storms occurring in the region.
The IMD has issued an alert for thunderstorms accompanied by lightning strikes in several areas. A decline in temperature levels is also anticipated here, with the maximum temperature expected to hover around 22 degrees Celsius.

Possibility of Storms and Rain in UP and Uttarakhand
According to the Meteorological Department, significant weather activity is expected across both the western and eastern regions of Uttar Pradesh. An alert for moderate to heavy rainfall has been issued for districts such as Kanpur, Agra, Gorakhpur, Bareilly, Aligarh, Saharanpur, and Mathura.
Additionally, strong winds are expected to blow, and there remains a risk of lightning strikes in several locations. An alert for overcast skies has also been issued for various cities, including Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh.
Heavy Rainfall Alert for These States as Well
According to the IMD, there is a possibility of rainfall in several states across South India. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for light to moderate rainfall in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh.
Thunderstorms and lightning strikes are also anticipated in several locations. The IMD notes that this change in weather will lead to a slight drop in temperature and a reduction in humidity levels. Rain may occur in several parts of Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Gujarat.
