When a child’s Aadhaar card is initially generated, their complete biometric data is not permanently recorded due to their young age. As the child grows, changes naturally occur in their facial features and fingerprints. This is precisely why the UIDAI has made it mandatory to perform biometric updates at the ages of 5 and 15.
