CUET UG 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued exam-day guidelines for candidates appearing for the examination. The agency advises students to carefully read these guidelines before arriving at the exam centre to avoid any inconvenience later. The NTA will conduct the exam on June 6 and 7. Admit cards for the exam have also been released. Specifically, the NTA has issued admit cards for candidates whose exams were previously cancelled on May 30 (Shift 1) due to technical glitches. Candidates are advised to download their admit cards from the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in.

Students must arrive at the exam centre at least one and a half hours before the exam starts today (June 6). Entry will not be permitted once the gates close on the day of the exam.

What to carry to the exam centre?

Water bottle
Ballpoint pen
Admit card with self-declaration
Two passport-sized photographs
Identity proof
Essential food/drink items for diabetic candidates
PwD/PwBD certificate (if applicable)

Candidates should carry the same photo ID proof that was uploaded during the online application process.

Exam Pattern
The CUET exam consists of 50 questions. Students will receive 5 marks for each correct answer. There is also a provision for negative marking; one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. The examination is being conducted for a total of 37 subjects, comprising 13 Indian languages, 23 domain-specific subjects, and one general aptitude test.

1. First, visit the official CUET UG website at cuet.nta.nic.in.

2. Click on the ‘CUET UG 2026 Admit Card’ link located on the homepage.

3. Enter your Application Number and your Date of Birth or Password. 4. Your admit card will appear on the screen.

5. Download it and take a printout for future reference.
