Abu Dhabi: There is good news for Indians planning to visit UAE. Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT) has launched a new initiative. Under this, people holding Indian passport will get free visa for UAE. This program has been started from 1st August and will continue till 31st October. This will apply to hotel bookings that include a minimum three-night stay in Abu Dhabi.
This program has been specially designed for travel partners and online travel agencies. Travelers who book Abu Dhabi packages through partner agencies involved will not have to pay any visa cost for entry into the UAE. To avail the benefits of this scheme, you will have to book a package of at least three nights.
Who can take advantage of the program?
Those Indians who are traveling from India can take advantage of this program.
You can also book a holiday package in Abu Dhabi through the travel partners included in the program.
Bookings for this offer must include a minimum three night (consecutive) stay in an Abu Dhabi hotel and return flight to India.
How to choose free visa
Travel partners participating in this can choose from two program options.
First, to work through the DCT appointed Destination Management Company.
In this, DCT Abu Dhabi will directly bear the visa expenses.
Another option is to continue working with a DMC partner.
In this, DCT Abu Dhabi will cover the expenses of 285 dirhams (about 7400 Indian rupees) for each visa.
Abdullah Yusuf, Director of International Operations at Abu Dhabi DCT, said, “India remains one of the UAE’s most important international markets. We are committed to making Abu Dhabi even easier for Indians. By covering the cost of UAE entry visas, we are making it easier for Indian travelers to choose Abu Dhabi.”
