All the oil marketing companies of the country change the prices of domestic and commercial LPG cylinders on the 1st of every month as per the need.

Each new month in India brings with it a variety of new regulations. Like past months, the new month starting on September 1st also brings with it a number of new or revised rules. Here, we’ll explore the regulations that will change from September 1st. We’ll also learn how the revised regulations will affect you.

LPG Price

All oil marketing companies in the country revise the prices of domestic and commercial LPG cylinders based on need on the 1st of every month. The severe disruption in energy supply caused by the conflict in West Asia had led to a sharp increase in LPG prices in the country. However, the last reduction, on August 1st, was a reduction of ₹202 for a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder. However, there was no reduction in the prices of 14.2-kg domestic gas cylinders used in homes.

ATF, CNG, PNG Price

Oil marketing companies adjust the prices of ATF (aviation fuel), CNG, and PNG as needed, along with LPG prices. As in previous months, these companies will release new ATF, CNG, and PNG prices on September 1st.

LPG e-KYC

E-KYC is mandatory to obtain domestic LPG cylinders, and the deadline is August 31, 2026. If you fail to complete e-KYC for your LPG connection by August 31, you may face significant difficulties obtaining a gas cylinder from September 1. Additionally, the subsidy benefit on LPG cylinders will also be discontinued.

Car Price

The country’s leading automobile companies, Tata Motors and Hyundai Motor India, are set to increase vehicle prices from September 1. Tata Motors will increase the prices of all its vehicles by up to ₹25,000 across various models and variants. Hyundai, on the other hand, will implement a 1 percent increase across all its vehicles. Hyundai has already increased vehicle prices twice this year. The new increase, effective September 1, will be the third increase this year.

Airport Immigration

Starting September 1, passengers traveling abroad will no longer need to obtain a separate stamp on their boarding pass at the airport for immigration purposes. Passengers will now be able to complete the immigration process by presenting their digital boarding pass or a printed copy of it. This new rule is expected to provide significant relief to Indians traveling abroad.
